Sciatica is a term that describes pain that radiates down into one or both of your lower extremities along the sciatic nerve. This condition can be severe and debilitating causing pain, numbness, and weakness.
Sciatica can be caused by a variety of issues such as a herniated disc, narrowing of spinal space, and overly tight nerves and musculature. Sciatica usually resolves by itself; however, physiotherapy can patients manage their symptoms by utilising advice, exercise and nerve gliders.
