Gavin Bilton - Strong Man
Gavin Bilton is a strong man. He was born on 22nd October 1988 in Caerphilly, South Wales. Gav stands at a height of 6ft 6 and is one of the all time heaviest to compete at a strongman event (215kg).
Nicknamed Gav “The Bull” Bilton is professional strong man and two time winner of the UKs strongest man competition. Famous for his infectious personality and his tasteful moustache, Gav has firmly placed himself in the history of strong man competition by winning multiple prestigious accolades and competing in the Worlds Strongest Man competition.
As a local semi professional rugby player, for Bridgend RFC and Newport RFC, Gav is well known across South Wales for his strength and power. Recently, converting to Strong Man events up and down the country.
After 3 years as a Lock in Welsh Premiership Rugby, last year, Gav started dedicating more of his training towards Strong Man competitions. Competing in the national championships, UK championships, and even the Team World Championships!
