A tough and physical battle against a well run outfit down in west Wales. But the lads put in a great effort and absolutely buzzing to get my debut this season after 5 years on the sideline.

Fitness is really lacking but great to get 45 mins against a solid Welsh Division 1 team! And if we can match the effort every week we’ll be sure to turn these good performances into points on the board.

As always with physical Welsh league games, a few bumps and bruises today but thankfully no major injuries to report to the Newport physio team!!
